Tajweed Tutor Academy – Subscription, Billing, and Operational Terms

Welcome to TajweedTutor.com! We are delighted to have you join our online Quranic education community. “Tajweed Tutor Academy” is an independent educational platform operated by Ahmed Khaled Abdelmonem.

These Terms and Conditions are designed to ensure an excellent, uninterrupted learning experience for you while maintaining the highest standards of Islamic educational excellence.

1. User Accounts & Age Restrictions

While our educational services are available to students of all ages, including minors, all user accounts, subscriptions, and billing agreements must be established and managed by an adult who is at least 18 years of age. By adding a payment method and subscribing to our services, you confirm that you are a legally responsible adult acting on behalf of yourself or a minor under your guardianship.

2. Subscription, Payments & Currency

  • Starting Your Journey: Your subscription must be completed after your trial lesson and prior to your first scheduled regular class.
  • Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring 4-week (monthly) cycle. Additional class days that fall in longer calendar months are not included in your paid plan. Additional hours can be requested and are billed at $15.00 per hour with advance arrangement.
  • Currency & Fees: All plans and payments are primarily processed in US Dollars (USD). You may choose to pay in your local currency at checkout; however, please note that minor currency conversion fees may be applied by your bank or payment provider if your local currency is not directly supported.
  • Renewals & Cancellations: Automatic subscriptions renew monthly on your registration date. You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time. Cancellation will immediately stop any future billing charges. Upon cancellation, you will retain full access to all classes you have already paid for until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • Plan Changes: To pause, cancel, or modify your plan, please notify us via email or Live Chat at least two days before your current billing month ends. For manual subscriptions, timely payment is required; late payments will result in an immediate suspension of classes.

3. Delivery & Fulfillment Policy

  • Access Delivery: Upon successful payment, you will receive your unique class login link and your assigned teacher’s schedule within 24 hours. This will be sent via email, WhatsApp, or your preferred communication method selected during registration.
  • Service Commencement: Your educational service officially begins at the exact time of your first scheduled class with your assigned teacher.

4. Attendance & Rescheduling (The 5-Hour Rule)

  • Punctuality: Punctuality is essential for effective learning. Please join your class promptly at the agreed time.
  • Rescheduling: You are permitted a maximum of 3 rescheduled classes per month, regardless of your study plan. To reschedule, you must contact your teacher or our support team via email at least 5 hours before the scheduled class time.
  • Missed Classes (No-Shows): Classes missed without the required 5-hour advance notice will be forfeited and will not be rescheduled. Emergencies, such as sudden illnesses or family bereavements, will be accommodated with proper notification.
  • Teacher Accountability: Our teachers are committed to their schedules. If a teacher misses a class, they will make up the missed time or the academy will provide a replacement class.

5. Islamic Holidays & Paid Leave

Following Islamic tradition, Tajweed Tutor Academy observes the following scheduled breaks:

  • Eid Al-Fitr: 3-day holiday period.
  • Eid Al-Adha: 5-day holiday period.
  • Gifted Time: Scheduled classes that fall during these specific holiday periods are considered gifted paid leave to our teachers and will not be rescheduled or refunded.

6. Refunds & Departures

  • Eligibility & Timeframe: Refunds are available strictly for unused classes that have not yet been conducted. Upon officially notifying us of your departure from the academy, any approved refund for remaining unused classes will be processed within a maximum of 7 business days.
  • Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be returned only to the original payment method used during checkout. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank to reflect the funds in your account.
  • Proper Notice: You must contact us at least two days before your next billing cycle if you intend to discontinue classes and request a refund for any prepaid, unused sessions.

7. Disputes & Chargebacks

We are committed to resolving any issues amicably. Before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or credit card provider, you agree to contact our support team at [academy email] to attempt to resolve the issue. Unjustified chargebacks may result in the immediate suspension of the student’s account.

8. Academy Exclusivity, Quality & Code of Conduct

  • Platform Only: All instruction must occur exclusively through Tajweed Tutor Academy. Private financial or educational arrangements with teachers outside our platform are strictly prohibited.
  • Modest Attire: Modest attire is required for all students and teachers during Holy Quran classes.
  • Quarterly Reports: Academic performance reports are issued in January, April, July, and October, containing assessments and recommendations for student advancement.

9. Limitation of Liability

Tajweed Tutor Academy provides educational services “as is.” While we strive for continuous and flawless service delivery, we are not liable for temporary service interruptions due to technical issues, internet outages, or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
